Support for Governmental Income Redistribution in Nordic Countries

In many countries, we have seen an increase in economic inequality over the past 20 to 25 years. The populations might therefore changed their attitude about how and much different countries should intervene reduce extent of inequality. A question is whether there any connection between changes redistribution preferences trends prosperous Nordic welfare states. This article contributes by examining are differences herein based upon socio-economic criteria, which include self-interest arguments. interesting because been development, even strong growth inequality, especially Sweden Denmark, although these literature as highly equal societies. analysis shows that support for relatively stable time each country, but also major with being higher Finland compared Denmark. Females, discriminated groups unemployed generally a degree. Ageing increases redistributional support, while more education reduces government Finland. all four highest income less supportive income.
